Question:
How do you rename horizontal alignment point names?
Answer:
- Go to Geometry>Horizontal Curve Set>Events (in some cases, you may want to consider assigning point names at Geometry>Utilities>Assign Names before creating event points).
- Toggle on "Alignment Point to Cogo". You do not need to specify a seed name. Click Apply. This will add your alignment points to your cogo buffer.
- Now go to Geometry>Cogo Points>Rename. From here you will be able to select your horizontal alignment point name and rename it to whatever you desire.
- When you review your horizontal alignment, you will see that the point names in parenthesis have updated to the new names you provided.
