Question :
Can I get a quick information about the cut and fill for existing terrain and a surface in OpenRoads?
Answer :
The "Create Cut and Fill Volumes" tool calculates cut and fill volumes between two surfaces and creates a 3D mesh solid with volume attributes. The volumes can be viewed in "Properties" or "Elemen Information".
Steps :
1. Select the tool from "Task Manager > Terrain Modelling".
2. Follow the heads-up prompts, select the exiting surface, select the Design surface.
3. Select the Feature Definitions for cut and fill, and give a data point to accept the selection.
4. Select the cut and fill mesh created in the view, and check the volumes from the Element information or Properties.
